Michael Wood, President

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse in 1985 Michael began an extensive career in construction and renovation sales and management, where he garnered and refined the skills and creativity necessary to help organizations manage building projects of any scale.

In 2011 Michael spearheaded Design Build Facility Solutions, Inc., providing Construction Management services to financial institutions. He has overseen and completed more than 50 new, ground-up facilities along with dozens of major renovation projects the southeastern United States.

After noticing a need to provide additional services to current customers, Michael and Bob Phillips incorporated DBFSI Construction, LLC, a full service General Contracting firm.

During his track to a degree in Architect Technology and Construction at St. Petersburg College and BA from University of South Florida, Bob started his career as a draftsman working on commercial projects for a Tampa Bay area developer and architect. His strong work ethics and efficiency quickly secured him a mid-level position at a subsidiary of the Bank Building Corporation. Gaining a solid technical foundation as a traveling national project manager building banks and credit unions across the United States, Bob was soon promoted to Construction Manager , beginning a long career in senior management dealing with all aspects of the commercial construction industry.

Bob attained his Class A State General Contractors License in 1986 and is an active member and Past President and current Treasurer of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry – Tampa Bay Chapter.
